Use it
AM: apply cream liberally to exposed skin 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours or more often if necessary, and after swimming, excessive perspiration or toweling.

Aloe Vera Leaf Juice

Rich in vitamins C, E and beta carotene, aloe vera is highly nourishing, soothing on the skin, helps to reduce flaking, and restores suppleness to dry skin. 

Benzyl Alcohol

A preservative which protects Go-To products from spoiling by inhibiting microbial growth.

Butyloctyl Salicylate

An elegant emollient that helps with the spreadability and moisturising skin feel of the product.

Caprylyl Glycol

A humectant that helps with moisture retention, and acts as a preservative to protect Go-To products from spoiling by inhibiting microbial growth.

Citric Acid

Used to adjust the pH of Go-To products.

DL-Alpha-Tocopheryl Acetate

A powerful antioxidant that preserves the product as well as preventing free radical damage.

Disteardimonium Hectorite

Used to help thicken and stabilise the product.

Glycerol

Also known as glycerin, glycerol is an excellent humectant, reducing moisture loss by holding water within the surface layers of the skin to prevent skin from drying out.

Glyceryl Behenate

Contributes to the texture of the product improving softness and spreadability.

Iron Oxides

A naturally occuring mineral, iron oxides are used in the formula to reduce white cast from some of the active ingredients.

    SPF Staple!

    I came back to repurchase this SPF and thought it was about time I write a review on how much I love it! I wear this every day, it goes on perfect over my skin care and does not end up greasy by the end of the day, even when I have a full face of makeup on

    Excellent

    This is my go to mineral sunscreen. I find it sits well in the skin and is light. Only wish it came in a glass bottle not plastic.

    Instant breakout

    For some reason this one makes me break out like crazy within 24 hours of wearing it. I’ve tried it on like five different occasions now and every time it’s the same. No probs with Nifty Fifty.

    I want to love this but

    I want to love this product but I can’t. I love every single Go-To product that I have tried (and I’ve tried many) but this mineral sunscreen leaves a dreaded cast. I have olive skin and when I wear this I look washed out. The consistency is great, it speeds easily, doesn’t irritate my acne prone skin but ultimately, I feel silly when I wear this. I really wanted this to be my everyday “go-to” sunscreen.

    Spreads well.

    I like the Nifty Fifty sunscreen because it is a great Physical sunscreen, spreads well, blends in easily and doesn't look cakey - even after a few hours.

    I would have given it a 5 if the packaging had been better. Why do company's try to be fancy and give you a little 'pump' which breaks off after the second use. A simple, ordinary, unbreakable, everyday tube is all that is needed.
