Content Creator
(Part Time)

Hi! We’re Go-To and we’ve been looking for you. A little bit about us – we like hopping along the asphalt and advocating for lemonade fountains in the office. We love skin care and think we’re pretty good at making it. Our specialty is making uncomplicated skin care that your skin is gonna love. And we really like videos – short, long, funny, witty videos.

We live on social media. It’s warm here! Our social media channels are the most important thing we do (don’t tell formulations) because it allows us to talk to you, our community. Through social media we keep you up to date, educated and entertained, and we spread the Go-To word.

The Content Creator role is a new one at Go-To. The role will be a 3 month contract (with the opportunity to extend). You will shoot, produce and edit social media videos (TikTok, Reels) in a very exciting, dynamic three-day a week role. You will work closely with the Brand Marketing team to create a constant stream of fun, on-brand videos that our audience love and our office tolerates. You will have a passion for beauty, skin care and will be able to create original ideas that harness Go-To’s personality.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and edit short form video on and for the TikTok, Instagram platforms in a timely, reactive manner
  • Staying on top of beauty, skin care and culture trends and executing this into video content
  • Use third party platforms like Adobe Photoshop to edit videos if required
  • Pitch and implement original ideas
  • Brainstorming and contributing in briefing sessions to ensure video is always being considered
  • Be available to work flexible hours within a 3 day period across the week
  • Constantly identifying and staying up-to-date with new trends and viral campaigns, reacting quickly

 

About You:

  • Experience in editing and uploading on TikTok, Instagram and other social media platforms
  • An obsession with social trends, brands, and all things beauty related
  • You have a proactive approach, with extreme confidence in taking ownership of your work and the results it drives

This role is part-time (three days and based in our Surry Hills, Sydney office), contract role.

Influencer and PR Coordinator
(Full Time)

And we really like connecting with our friends on the internet.

 

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Influencer and PR Coordinator to keep our influencer and community wheels u-turning and reverse parking.

Reporting into the PR & Partnerships Manager, the Influencer & PR Coordinator will be an influencer wizard, conceptualizing, managing and executing all influencer collaborations globally, supporting execution of the PR and marketing PR strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the influencer marketing strategy
  • Plan and manage influencer partnerships from end to end including budgeting, briefing, managing approvals, monitoring, contracts and post-campaign reporting
  • Manage campaign seeding to influencers and press globally
  • Identify new influencers & artistry talent and build innovative programs, partnerships and relationships to expand community
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team on 360 campaign strategy and execution
  • Proactively review social media influencer engagement with team to provide real time feedback and growth opportunities
  • Support brand affiliate programs to drive affiliate growth alongside influencer campaigns and ongoing marketing support through our platforms, including Rakuten

 

Key Attributes:

  • Minimum 2-3 years demonstrated experience in an influencer, PR and/or social role in the retail/e-commerce industry
  • An understanding of the media, influencer and beauty landscape and an obsession with social trends
  • Exceptional relationships building, influencing and negotiating skills and strong personal connections with media, influencers and content creators
  • Experience managing successful influencer campaigns from end-to-end
  •  Experience with influencer software platforms and social media management tools
  • Budget management
  • Commercial mindset through a creative lens!

 

The Important Bits:

This role is a full time position based in our Sydney office. (Flexible WFH policy, obviously. It’s 2022.) Must be Sydney based, no interstate or international applicants please.

Salary is TBC depending on experience.

Senior Formulation Chemist
(Full Time)

We are searching for a Senior Formulation Chemist to join the team!

The Senior Formulation Chemist role ensures the delivery of our upcoming NPD pipeline and the ongoing production and maintenance of our existing products across all skincare categories. The role sits across our three brands, Go-To, Bro-To and Gro-To, using the Founders vision to cement the Go-To brands position as a pioneering, unique, irreverent and “must-have'' product line for our target markets as the framework.

The role requires input across all stages of the development process including ideation, formulation, stability, safety and efficacy testing and scale up to manufacture. It is an inherently cross-functional position which will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

New Product Development:

  • Ideation and innovation of new product concepts
  • Input into Briefs including review of the market, analysis of competitor products, benchmarking, COGS and project budget estimates, risk assessments and proposal of claims and clinical trials
  • Formulation of New Products to meet Briefs including Active Ingredient selection, Base formula development and fragrancing.
  • Sourcing of all required Raw Materials for Lab Batches and small scale Pilots
  • Ensure Product Stability through a range of physical tests and investigate ways to accelerate instability to speed up development
  • Ensure Product Safety through sensitization and irritation studies as well as microbiological tests
  • Ensure Product Efficacy through in-house and third party clinical trials
  • Ensure Product Feasibility by developing products that meet target COGS and margins
  • Formulate products to meet the regulatory requirements of local and international markets
  • Ensure the product is suitable for large scale manufacture throughout development and support the Scale Up and Process Validation at our manufacturing sites
  • Generation of all technical and formula related information including claims substantiation, LOI, specifications and formula and process summaries
  • Technical support for the Marketing and Customer Service teams leading up to and throughout launch

 

Ongoing Product Support and Maintenance:

  • Management of the Raw Material Alternatives/Assessment process
  • Update of manufacturing master batch documents and specifications
  • Support of internal Quality testing and investigations
  • Reformulation of existing products
  • Create protocols for assessment of new packaging
  • Technical Support for Customer Service
  • Support change of manufacturing sites

 

Management

  • Day to day support for Testing Coordinator including mentoring, managing workload and setting priorities.
  • Management of key internal stakeholders including the Marketing and Production Teams as well as external stakeholders such as Ingredient Suppliers and Contract Manufacturers
  • Improvement of internal processes and creation/updates of SOPs
  • Advise systems and processes for laboratory management
  • Sharing of knowledge and experience to formulation team as well as the wider business
  • Mentoring and coaching of Formulation Chemists in the Research and Development team on their product development and research activities.

 

Your Background:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemistry or related discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in cosmetic chemistry and formulation
  • Direct experience formulating natural skincare products and/or SPF products and delivering them to market
  • Experience in a production environment with strong understanding of Scale Up and Process Validations
  • Experience is meeting TGA regulatory requirements would be advantageous
  • Experience in Project Management is strongly desired
  • Advanced knowledge of Skincare formulation
  • Knowledge of regulatory restrictions across global markets
  • Extensive knowledge of stability, safety and efficacy testing
  • Up to date with the latest advances in the industry
  • Knowledge of Quality systems and standards
